Volunteers Welcome

If you are not already a Co-OpWorld member then register first, to join our free community.

The Co-OpWorld project is a member driven project with 80% of the money that the company would normally retain as profits pushed back to the members and member chosen charities. Our goal is to build a series of communities where people can find what they want easily, whether it be making new friends, finding products, services and information, or getting advice from other members.

BUT.... to make this project deliver on its potential, we need people like you to GET INVOLVED

We have numerous opportunities to help, but the main two are:

  • assisting with the links research to help build out our Links Directory of high quality sites on the Web.
  • assisting in the forums as moderators, helping other members by steering them in the right direction, and making these forums, places where people want to actively participate.

Even if you only want to get involved with researching one particular topic (eg perhaps you are a Labrador dog enthusiast and we have not yet researched the best resources on the Net for other Labrador lovers), your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

We will shortly be introducing a number of incentive bonuses, including random prize draws, for participants. Primarily, we want you to get involved because your assistance can make a difference in helping us build this community.

If you have other skills related to the Internet (eg web design), or Sales & Marketing, or working with Affinity Groups such as Charities, Schools, Churches, and Community Groups, we'd love to hear from you.

HOW DO I GET STARTED ??

We have a team of four Volunteer Co-ordination staff: Beulah, Cheryl, Dirk and Lucia who will be there to greet you, make you feel welcome and explain exactly what you need to do. We have a fairly simple process to make sure we are not wasting people's time and skills.

  1. Indicate your interest by either posting on one of the forums, under the volunteer section, or by sending an email to
volunteers@co-opworld.com. Please indicate the best way to get in touch and the best time of day to do so. (Please also include what timezone you are in). You can provide your telephone details, whilst still maintaining your privacy by "Editing Your Account Details" in the Members' Area.
  2. One of the Co-ordination Team will contact you and ask some simple questions to ascertain how we can best utilize your skills, whilst making it a fun exercise to be involved.
  3. We'll then organize a training session for you and allocate one of the Co-ordination Team to be your "buddy" should you have questions.
  4. We'll then get you underway.
  5. We will be implementing a basic Quality Control process to ensure that you get feedback on the work being done.

So Please volunteer today by sending us an email: volunteers@co-opworld.com

or posting on one of our forums:
